Scream! Scream! Ice Cream

As a child, I used to sneak peek cricket matches which my BIG BROTHER used to watch late at night.

I remember those Fashion TV Ramp walks.

And also once in a while late night ice cream walks.

Adulthood was like that sweetest craving that we all wished somewhat so badly as a child.

I always had this craving that when I will grow up, I will have the privilege to do all of the above, at any given point of time and maybe daily. You can imagine having butterflies in your stomach when as kids we used to say,

“Jab main bada ho jaunga na… “

And now

I want to sleep on time, daily
I want to read my book, daily
I have a time table for all 7 days of the week
I am making rituals for each day and month
The most unexpected, I now wash my hair on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

That’s not why you are here, right? (To know when I wash my hair)

But, I wish someone could have told me the truth behind those sweet cravings.

The truth behind the questions like, why we were told to make time tables as a child? Why it was important to follow the rituals? Why I can’t cut my nails on Thursday?

Now if some child ask you this, tell them:
It saves Time. As an adult the one thing that you will crave the most is TIME.
It saves unnecessary mind planning.
It helps to create space for hobbies.
It gives you peace.

And it helps you to enjoy those ICE CREAMS (Cravings)
