Human Relations

Were you worth chasing?

I must have completed reading that book. I must have gone on that trip. I must have taken a day off. I must have worked on that project & I must have talked to him…

Sounds familiar?

Life is simple. Mind your business, speak your heart, and do what needs to be done. Isn’t it?

I read somewhere these quotes,

“Sanu keval dar to darna chahida hai” “Do or Die” “kal kare so aaj kar, aaj kare so ab, pal me pralay ho jayega, fir karega kab”

Otherwise, we’ll stay forever in a feeling called “regret”

Aahhh…. Ouch! It hurts

But why did it happen? We just kept delaying the obvious, sometimes thinking we have time, and one day, when it suddenly flees, we feel “regret”

It stays longer than grief, for you may know the outcome is gonna be the best or may be worse, and yet you keep delaying. You missed that satisfaction that reading the last page of that book could have given you, and where that one genuine conversation has taken you.

And in the end, to satisfy our only soul by any means or by any chance, we accept that

“Hath na apde, thoo kodi” (angoor khate hai)
